Unused "Game of Boom or Bust" by Parker Brothers 1951, Complete with Game Pieces Factory Sealed, Box shows Wear, Board Game, Made in the USA
1951 unused Game of Boom or Bust with playing piece, discs, dice and paper money all still in the factory covering. The game includes the playing field, removable panel (BOOM or BUST), rule sheet and all other playing pieces. The board and pieces are bright and unused. The box is intact though shows wear from storage and being bumped about the last 70 years. The removable panel has some damage on the edge from bumping the pegs in the box. The box corners have wear and some tearing, the lid top has some rippling and a spot of the color removed on the top right corner. All shown in photos and I am happy to send additional photos upon requested. It is a hard-to- find vintage game and I would say a rare one with unused and sealed pieces. A wonderful addition to a collection!
Equipment: The raised playing field (Board) actually sits in the 15"x15"x2" box bottom (it is not designed to stand alone). It has a slot on the outside of each property space, wherein the owner places their like-colored (red, blue, green, yellow) "T-card" vertically to show ownership. A removable panel printed BOOM on one side and BUST on the other. The bills come in denominations of $100, $1000, and $10,000. There are also white/blue discs worth $5,000 and blue/silver discs worth $50,000. Four painted wooden markers (red, blue, green, yellow) and two red dice complete the equipment. The Rules sheet states "Questions on the rules for BOOM OR BUST will be answered gladly if 3-cent stamp is enclosed."

Gift wrapping and packaging
I can customize any gift order with a hand written/typed note or card at your request and free of charge. I can offer gift wrapping on most items. Many items are breakable, it is priority items are wrapped with the utmost care to prevent breakage. Items maybe double boxed when gift wrapped.
Custom and personalised orders
A hand written/typed message, note or card can be added to any order at the request of the buyer/sender. Most items are vintage and gently used and are unable to be altered.
Shipping Rates
I do my best to have accurate shipping rates and list the least expensive method available. Shipping overages of $2 or more will be refunded. If a specific type or expedited shipping is desired please communicate prior to purchase so adjustments can be made otherwise an additional shipping upgrade may need to be purchased.
International - Small Packet Surface is the rate most listed for shipping overseas. No tracking or insurance.
How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Time of estimated delivery with depend on your location and method of shipping used. I do try my best to have items shipped within 1 to 2 business days.
Canadian customers: usually 3 to 10 business days.
USA customers (I ship from Montana wit USPS three days a week M, W & Fr) usually 4 to 8 business days.
Overseas-Small Packet Surface is the rate listed- 6 to 8 weeks but has take as long as 3 months. No tracking or Insurance. Small Packet Air (shipping upgrade required) 10 to 14 business days, no tracking or insurance. Not responsible, no refund for lost or damaged packages as no insurance is chosen. I have had great success with both of these methods.
Can I pick up my purchase?
Yes, if you live in Calgary, AB Canada or surrounding area pick up is an option. I do not have a store front so an agreed upon time must be arranged prior to pick up. I am easy to locate in central Calgary, an address will be provided upon completion of sale. There is not a shipping fee for items being picked up. Please contact me prior to purchase so shipping may be removed.
I can deliver within Calgary city limits for a small delivery fee.
Exchanges, refunds & cancellations?
All my items are vintage and previously owned. I do my best to list an accurate description of condition. I take pride in my honesty with description and take the utmost care in packaging items for shipping. I am happy answer any questions or send additional photos
If you are unhappy with an item purchased from my shop please contact me. Cancellations are accepted within 1 hour of purchase. Once the item has been shipped cancellations are no longer accepted.
If insurance is not requested with your purchase, I cannot refund item cost or shipping costs for damaged, lost or stolen packages.
If for any reason an item is to be returned, customers must make contact within 14 days of delivery and are responsible to pay for the return shipping.
Can items be put on hold?
Yes, I can reserve (hold) items up to 24 hours. This allows a grace period for customers to decide on the purchase or for a shipping upgrade to be calculated. A customer can only have the same item reserved (hold) once within a 7 day period.
