Royal Winton Countess Breakfast Set Mottled Pink - COMPLETE- Pattern Number 5330, 1934 to 1938, Earthenware, Art Deco, Rose Pink, England
1930's English earthenware countess breakfast set in mottled pink and gold gilding by Royal Winton, Grimwades Ltd. The set includes a tray, teapot, teacup, cream & open sugar and a toast rack. The pattern number is 5330 with the pattern being a light pink background with a darker pink speckle, all pieces are trimmed in gold. Each piece is stamped with only the teapot embossed with "countess" on the bottom. Based on the stamp "Royal Winton, Grimwades Made in England" this set was produced between 1934 and 1938. After which "Made in" was dropped from the stamp. The is complete and in excellent condition, hard to believe based on it age. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. There is little to no wear on the gold trim. There is one spot in the glaze of the sugar bowl (shown in photos). I believe this set was displayed and not used or used infrequently. A truly stunning collectible set.
The Royal Winton brand has always been know for both quality and design, and was started in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire (The Potteries), England In 1885. It was originally known as Grimwade Brothers, after the the founder Leonard Grimwade and his brother Sidney. The company has gone through many changes and ownership over the years but is still one of the few fine bone china tableware companies still manufacturing in England today.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I can customize any gift order with a hand written/typed note or card at your request and free of charge. I can offer gift wrapping on most items. Many items are breakable, it is priority items are wrapped with the utmost care to prevent breakage. Items maybe double boxed when gift wrapped.
Custom and personalised orders
A hand written/typed message, note or card can be added to any order at the request of the buyer/sender. Most items are vintage and gently used and are unable to be altered.
Shipping Rates
I do my best to have accurate shipping rates and list the least expensive method available. Shipping overages of $2 or more will be refunded. If a specific type or expedited shipping is desired please communicate prior to purchase so adjustments can be made otherwise an additional shipping upgrade may need to be purchased.
International - Small Packet Surface is the rate most listed for shipping overseas. No tracking or insurance.
How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Time of estimated delivery with depend on your location and method of shipping used. I do try my best to have items shipped within 1 to 2 business days.
Canadian customers: usually 3 to 10 business days.
USA customers (I ship from Montana wit USPS three days a week M, W & Fr) usually 4 to 8 business days.
Overseas-Small Packet Surface is the rate listed- 6 to 8 weeks but has take as long as 3 months. No tracking or Insurance. Small Packet Air (shipping upgrade required) 10 to 14 business days, no tracking or insurance. Not responsible, no refund for lost or damaged packages as no insurance is chosen. I have had great success with both of these methods.
Can I pick up my purchase?
Yes, if you live in Calgary, AB Canada or surrounding area pick up is an option. I do not have a store front so an agreed upon time must be arranged prior to pick up. I am easy to locate in central Calgary, an address will be provided upon completion of sale. There is not a shipping fee for items being picked up. Please contact me prior to purchase so shipping may be removed.
I can deliver within Calgary city limits for a small delivery fee.
Exchanges, refunds & cancellations?
All my items are vintage and previously owned. I do my best to list an accurate description of condition. I take pride in my honesty with description and take the utmost care in packaging items for shipping. I am happy answer any questions or send additional photos
If you are unhappy with an item purchased from my shop please contact me. Cancellations are accepted within 1 hour of purchase. Once the item has been shipped cancellations are no longer accepted.
If insurance is not requested with your purchase, I cannot refund item cost or shipping costs for damaged, lost or stolen packages.
If for any reason an item is to be returned, customers must make contact within 14 days of delivery and are responsible to pay for the return shipping.
Can items be put on hold?
Yes, I can reserve (hold) items up to 24 hours. This allows a grace period for customers to decide on the purchase or for a shipping upgrade to be calculated. A customer can only have the same item reserved (hold) once within a 7 day period.
